Content has an intended context. The medium has another. Context is relative. Who, where and for how long it's consumed alters its meaning and our interpretation.

To set a written message in motion is to open it to interpretation. Whether it moves across a screen or between people, what was fixed becomes a matter of when you looked, and who carried it.

We live in an age where words are prompted, spewed, forgotten, reposted and re-contextualised in seconds. Speech is a right. Being understood is not. 


Contextualise consists of four works that set that in motion and ask what is understood, and what is only consumed. An interactive, video- and print-based exhibition.

All profits from the exhibition will be donated directly to ICORN's Emergency Fund. Read more at the bottom about the fund and how to support their work.
